Welcome to Spanish. This course includes a variety of activities designed according to IB principles to help students learn the language while communicating in Spanish and working cooperatively every day. Students will practice their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in order to communicate in Spanish. Also, students will be introduced to different expressions of Hispanic Culture, practice grammar, and reflect on their learning process.
It is highly recommended that parents and students read all the information provided in this website in order to understand the distinctive features of a MYP Language Acquisition class such as Spanish. After you read the information provided in this website, please submit a Google form acknowledging that you have read the items covered on the form. Parents and students each have a specific form to complete. See the Google forms link on the main menu to the left. Thank you!

Amigos de la Biblioteca Club: East Meck Amigos meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Independence Regional Library. Amigos tutor elementary school students around the East Meck area. Change a life: Volunteer as a homework helper! You do not have to speak Spanish, Join now!
